The spirit of each space will be the overarching influence on any project. Virginia will work with her own or a client's contractors to produce a garden that will look natural and as if it is very much 'part of the place'.

We did not need a complete redesign of our two acre mature garden. But Virginia has introduced some areas of new planting, replanted beds that had lost interest and vitality and shown us the way with useful maintenance advice. The overall result is a transformed look but with an apparent light touch.

LANDSCAPE DESIGNER
After a career in the City, Virginia studied Landscape Design at the College of Garden Design, Surrey and the English Gardening School at the Chelsea Physic Garden, London and has practiced since 1988. She lives in rural Berkshire from where she runs her small studio working on gardens throughout the UK and Europe.
